Not sure if I tried the restaurant on an off day, but the food here was bland, flavorless, and watery. I was excited based on the recent positive reviews to order take out, but was tremendously unsatisfied. Our family tried both a dinner combo in the Orange Chicken and Sesame Seed Chicken. The portions are pretty small for the Orange Chicken, but beyond that the flavors weren't robust as expected. The Sesame Seed Chicken came with broccoli which felt like it was all swimming in a broth. But there was no season in sight, not even salt.
We added two chicken rolls to our order which were mediocre at best.
Unfortunately, the food wasn't a hit for us but the customer service was great and friendly.
The first time I tried Asian Kitchen was a few years ago, and I continue to drive out here even after I moved quite far away. It's their pho that I cannot resist. You know a good pho when the broth doesn't need to be seasoned! Hands down, best pho in the area! I also love their Tri-color, very authentic, and reminds me of home. I will say that the place can be kept a little tidier and it is a smaller dining restaurant of 6 tables or so. However, that does not bother me. Im used to small Asian gem restaurants growing up. I'll keep coming back as long as that pho recipe never changes! It's definitely a must try if you're craving pho or banh mi!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was our first visit and we were not sure what to try first. The pho was delicious!!!!! We also had their bubble tea which was very good. Would love to go every day, but it's an hour drive for me.
I ordered the ham&pork bahn mi and spring rolls, and pad thai (that I’m eating later, pictures to follow once I edit). DELICIOUS! first of all, the sandwich is HUGE. all of the flavors are amazing. the spring rolls were great as well as the sauce. I’m saving the pad thai for dinner. I wasn’t able to call ahead to order but it only took about 10 minutes once I placed the order inside for take out. I was able to get a 2023 menu as well that I’ll upload. I would definitely recommend.
I don’t know how this place has a 4.7….the Mongolian beef was VERY bland. No spice and no flavor. The spring rolls were ok and served with what tasted like duck sauce. The chicken pho tasted weird to me. I don’t know if that is how pho is supposed to taste but it was sweet. Or some sweet spice like cinnamon. If you don’t like sweeter broths do not order this. And as for the wonton soup. It was also bland but ok. $57 down the drain. Will not be returning.
Greeted right away. Ordered spicy vegan pho, veggie egg roll, veggie spicy sandwich. Lunch Mongolian beef combo, cheese wonton and chicken ban mi.
Driving across the US, bookmarked this spot to try along the drive to the East Coast. A perfect hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant. They were welcoming, quick and efficient with my order. The food was delicious and hit the spot. Plenty of parking too which helped.
Drove 40 mins because they advertised banh mi dac biet.. they gave me a sandwich that was not it. There version is terrible jist slop, 1 piece of pork roll, couldnt even see the pate, No ham instead they gave me red bbq pork.... just terrible. For the record a traditional dac biet is Ham headcheese pork roll & pate. Sell that sandwich of yours as a bbq pork banh mi. No daikon either just a bad sandwich with nothin but carrots.
